The actual pictures are a little brighter than these. I was able to see the green leaves in the background as opposed to these here. I guess my scanner is not able to pick up the background so well or the software that I have isn't doing its job! Because of this problem, I had to tweak them a little to get the exposure as close to my original ones as possible.
Although I love looking at them but I don't really know the actual or scientific names for these flowers. All I know is that they are orchids with a variety of colors. As for the last one, I absolutely have no clue what the flower is called. The garden did have the names posted next to the flowers but I didn't jot them down. So if anyone knows, drop me a line @^_^@. I hope you will enjoy all these photos.
These first set of photos are all flowers that I took when I was visiting the Longwood Garden. I love taking flowers because of their intrinsic colors that are absolutely breathtaking. They can transform a picture that could be dead and dull into one that is full of live. I was mesmerized by their size, colors and freshness. Looking at these pictures, I could almost smell their heavenly scent.
